I have a bunch of wood re-sawn for tops and backs. Thin wood is a lot harder to join than violin, viola, archtop wood. I made a fixture from scraps. Hardboard stiffened with pine cut from the 1X2's for the table/storage unit I made. It has a 3/4" slope so the plane with the corrugated bottom works.

I got 3 bellies and a back glued in the last 2 hours. Let the HHG set for 1/2 hour, and move it to a flat surface. Seems to work. I do have to use the heat gun, it's about 66 down there. It's was 63 this morning. I went through a TBS of glue already doing the fixture, and the 4 plates.
