A questions for those who started cutting your instrument binding channels with the older 3-screw, PC 310 style Stew-Mac routing jig carriage, and changed to the newer Bosch Colt 4-screw carriage. Did you also have to purchase the carriage track? It appears that the carriage mounts to the guide post in a different fashion, and now requires the carriage track. Is that the case?
And if so, do you have the part number for the carriage track? (I can't seem to locate that part number on the SM site)
I have submitted a help message to SM, but the wait may be up to a day :(
Thanks in advance,
Ken

I have the SM Purfling binding router, 5 or 6 years old with a Bosch Colt mounted to it.
Did SM answer your question, or how can I help?

Stew-Mac hasn't answered yet, they probably will later today.

You probably bought yours as a package, with all the components, I assume? I'm most curious about the track piece, that slides up and down the post. I'm converting from old to newer set-up, and in addition to the new carriage, and I think I'll have to add that piece as well.
Any idea what the part number on it is?

I do not know what the number is, it also not listed on the IFU. I can take measurements or pictures.

Thanks for the offer, Karl. Let me wait and see what SM says.
