Resurfacing this… I am considering trying it but the thermally modified aspect makes me nervous as a bridge. I recall some folks giving special attention to bracing material & soundboards that had been torrefied. Seems like a bad recipe for a bridge? I’ll probably order some for testing but would also like to back that up with some real world experiences. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I would worry a lot less about the effects of thermal treatment on maple than spruce. Seems you could buy a small amount and judge for yourself…
