During my current build, I was shocked, I mean SHOCKED! to discover the status of my old stash of BRW bridge blanks, which is to say, I'm out. Haven't looked for any for some years. Who's a good source these days?

Yes, I always got mine from Walter Lipton of Euphonon but more recently Allied who bought out Walter.
Last time I ordered was a couple of years ago.

This magic wood, oh to go back in time. I'd hoard it like gold. Now, I can't even afford to build a guitar for my self with it. I have fretboard size scraps of it that someone gave me. Best I can ever do is make a d35 type middle section with them. I could possibly glue up bridges but after flattening them, I'm not sure what would be left.

Got them from Mike Collins. They look like what was around in the 1970s: Nice straight vertical grain. Thanks, Mike!
