Incredible work Josh. I am pleased the tonewoods worked well for you. It sounds like you are good and busy, that's GREAT! Your work shows why.

Shane

Tony,

Are you referring to the the OM (pictured above) that I had at the fest. I haven't had time to do the refinish work yet. I have been very busy over the last few weeks. I should hopefully get at the next week.

Darin,

I have done several instruments now with the dual ports. And yes it does give it a "stereo" effect. One sounds good, but in my experience two have always sounded better.

Jeanne,

Yes it is a stripped rosette. The woods are purpleheart and African blackwood.

I cant wait to hear one with Dolby 5.1 if TWO sound better !!!!

Busy I know, I am fully loaded for next year ... as for whats up the last couple weeks, got the new front hall bathroom, or as AZ called it, the "Heshroom" finished up yesterday. Front hall still needs to be grouted - ever grouted a slate floor - painful. Then onto new baseboard and 1/4 round, however my work there doesnt rival the mitred purflings I do !!!!

Do you put some sort of bracing around the ports?

Thanks Josh!

That sure is pretty and unique. Is that the one going to Scotland?
