Thanks everyone!

Rod, i checked the top's stifness today, of course, it is not as stiff as it was in cross grain but in longitudinal section, it is still plenty stiff so what i'll do will be to make the braces tall and thin!

Jeanne, maybe Kellogg would buy into selling Petit Chou cereals!

Hey Bud... Be extra careful with that cedar top. It's already thin and if you're not careful and you don't keep a very clean bench, it will wind up with a bunch of dings and scratches and then you'll have to sand it even more (steaming out the dents will help, of course)...

I'm not sure how it would affect the sound, but you could always glue in some of your veneers on the underside of that top... Those things are pretty thin. Maybe a more experienced member could chime in here...

Thanks Al, veneers sounds interesting as a fix especilly for under the bridge and maybe some diamonds like Hesh uses along the center seam of the top, well see what the pros will advise!
