Russell... the name of the builder from Wales is Rafael "Rafi" Hayon. He is an amateur builder who has built steel strings before but this was both his first classical and first guitar built by hand tools. He is in Caerleon, S. Wales so he is just over the border into Wales from England.
Thanks Ken and Colin. I need to update the page, since I'm not currently accepting any more orders - but be assured that once I am I'll be increasing prices (not to mention limiting the number I make).

Colin... Whats the latest? Haven't been around here much. What are you working on?

Shawn... looking forward to your post regarding tops.
Joshua, I've got three projects on the go at the moment, in various stages of completion. I'm working on a Walnut/Euro OM steel string. This if the furthest ahead. I'm also working on the Madagascan/Euro FE19 'homage', that you gave me so much advice on.

On the drawing board I have a 13-course Archlute that will have a triple rose with hopefully carved classical dolphins on the pegboxes. The back of the pegboxes will be pierced and inlayed with gold and ivory as will the back of the neck and the fingerboard. I'll really be pushing the envelope of my ability, but if I pull it off it should be spectacular! This will be one long project!

Colin
