Inspiration -- I dunno    It'll be awhile before I produce anything remotely that pretty.

He sure builds 'em nice. Thanks for the link Lance!

Lately it has been tough to stay in the shop as much as I would like. The weather has been good and our summers are kind of short, so I like to get outside when I can. When I saw this thread title I had to check it out. I need the inspiration! Anyway I was surprised to see it is about my guitars (or pictures of them.) Lance, how am I supposed to get inspired? Actually all the nice comments do make we want to go back to the shop and crank out the next couple. Thanks.

Lance you are right, one of the reasons, I have not been on the OLF much lately is I have been busy in the shop. I do get sidetracked by the forums sometimes and loose productivity. I am continually searching for that “balance,” and hopefully that will include a little more participation around here.

Thanks again for the nice comments, I guess I am re-charged, time to go back and put the binding on the 000 that’s on the bench!

Why does John make his guitars look so beautiful?

Because HE can!

Beautiful work John!

No shortage of inspiration there (shortage of perpiration here)! I love the knotted rosette. Excellent work.

I had to show my guitars right next to this guy...for me, the pain was exquisite!

John O, you are truly a gifted builder....not bad for a F.O.G.!

Johns guitars are inspiring, especially in person! I had the pleasure to play one at Newport, they sound every bit as nice as they look.

I have seen some of his guitars up close in real life, and they look even better than the pictures. Oh, and they sound OK too .

I've been secretly peeking at and drooling over John's guitars for a while now. John, you do some of the finest work I've seen. Keep it up bud!
