After reading Shane's post on resawing Lutz tops, I thought I would post a picture of one of his tops (from Bob C) I just braced up. I decided to go with low (half inch at intersection) X-brace instead of scalloped and if it sounds half as good as it taps it will be a great guitar. These are really lively tops, can't wait to hear the results. Thanks for the great work Shane.......

That sure is fine looking work! The insides look better that my outsides. What kind of finish will you use?

I too like the lightly braced top. With a full depth dread body is should be really something!

Looks really good the workmanship , as others have said, is impressive. I really like the light non-scalloped bracing should give a very responsive top.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm excited about this wood, and will definitly be getting more.
The back and sides are Honduras Mahogany
The brace behind the maple bridge plate is a bent lamination of three pieces of 1/16" spruce.
I usually use a double X brace, but stick with the traditional pattern on Dreds.
