I just started a new commission for a new customer. SJ Cutaway in Camatillo with an Adi top. Really a real nice guy, and happens to be a graphics artist! After speaking with him for a while and telling him about my quest for a brand logo, he came up with this:

And it only took him a couple of hours... I think he's pretty good at it!

What do you guys think?

Nautical theme? I see the anchor and don't make the connection... I think I understand it, but the connection seems really vague. Just food for thought, not trying to be a wet blanket.

There is some complexity there, that's all. Makes you think a bit. Then it
hits.

Anchored in Jesus Christ, who was, of course, a carpenter by the sea.

Worship guitars. Patriotic guitars. What's this country coming to? :)

Put your beliefs out there. Let'em know what's important to you.

I think it's a great logo!

And PTL on the commission!

Don, instead of my Christian theme... I'm going to make it a fishing theme??
what do you think?

Nope, just joking...the anchor was a prominent symbol in the early church, a symbol of hope and foundation...
So in this logo we have the anchor combined with the "C" for Cornerstone....

Fishing theme....ok, as in fishers of men...I gotcha.

It's growing on me...besides, it's hard to do anything with an actual "cornerstone" image.
