[QUOTE=Serge Poirier] Call me a dreamer if you will, a man seeing the world through colored sunglasses if you want to but...i believe that the world is what we make it and when i say this, i mean all of us on an individual basis....choices...

we choose to smile at each other or not, we choose to love one another or not...

we choose to hate everyone and deny our own selves or accept and tolerate others...

we choose to live in fear of everything or we choose to trust in the good will of man...

we choose to listen to the news because we don't want to miss anything bad that happened or we choose to watch a documentary on building guitars or listen to a music CD...

I think that if we all choose and embrace truth, good will and positive attitude but most importantly faith in God, we can all radiate his love all around us and be contagious so that this love spreads everywhere, where there is light, there can't be no darkness.

Serge I to would love to join you in your dream. However until the rapture both light and dark will walk the face of this planet. scripture or faith its self requires we both love one each other and protect our families. unfortunately the two goals are not always parallel.MichaelP38972.6345138889

I mean this is the absolute most kind of ways.

Please don't turn this thread south.

If you want to post your care and thoughts for the victims of 9-11 both living and gone, I am all for that. But let us stop at that, and not go down the road of religion and politics. We all know this forum is read worldwide, and our beliefs are not always that of others.

Thanks
Lance

Lance, i most agree with what you said and i ask you to forgive me if my post sounded religious in any way, it was meant more as a way to help heal the scars of my American bros that i love very much, more than wanting it to be a religious post of some sort.

I'm not against any opinions on how to anihilate the terrorism threat, my goal was more to help put the fears aside and install trust in mankind again, i hope you guys felt it that way, if not, i offer to have my upper post deleted...

Serge

Serge, goodness, your post was wonderful.

Everyone has been respectful, inoffensive, yet understandably prideful
and defensive of the Red, White, and Blue, which was brutally and
viciously attacked, without provocation. If THAT offends someone in
some far off land... well, may I politely suggest that they can read
something else.

Without question this forum has been the most friendly I have ever seen.
Well, TimeZone.com is pretty darn good. But a heck of a lot of
woodworking sites are filled with acrimony that is totally absent here.

I love it!

Paul, I, too, work like heck to keep my political views from pouring out
too strongly and upsetting folks. As proof thereof, go to
cameronreddy.com to see me speaking without restraint. On this forum, I
try very hard to avoid comming off too strongly. My apologies to the
extent that I fail.

Highly charged material is best sent with the PM, of course.

Brock, believe it or not, I haven’t had a TV since 1977! Almost 30 years,
now! It is to some extent a shame that I miss seeing good stuff on the
history channel and some others that folks tell me are really excellent
sources of good information. And, OH BOY do I miss watching MSU
Spartan football games! When I just have to watch a game, I head to a no-
smoking bar that has the game on.

So, thanks everyone for such a level-headed forum!

I'm not asking for any apologies or implying that anyone said anything wrong, all im asking is that we don't go down that road. That's all
