Hi everyone

I'd love to see your favorite mahogany guitars if you have images. I'm
trying to envision various appointments to go with mahogany and would
love to see what everyone else enjoys.

I like that guitar a lot. I have a set of that mahogany coming from Bob C.

Here's a couple pics of my 2nd guitar, a mahogany/cedar dread that I made for a friend who was graduating from Brown U. with his PhD in Philosphy. I really like this one. It was one of my favorite builds. Sorry for the poor quality pictures...
It was so many years ago that I did this one, I hardly remember much about it.

This is a Beautiful guitar for sure!!!
THe detailing is superb.
I have yet to make my first Mahogany guitar. I have the wood but no bender.

Thanks folks. I really love mahogany. I'm becoming a big fan of it. My friend is teaching Philosphy at a university in New York state, and uses the guitar regularly in church I think.
Steve, yes, those are cocobolo bindings if my memory serves me.
Serge, it was very easy to part with it, since a close friend was getting it. I made it for him as a graduation gift in a small sense. He paid for the materials and the case, that is if the amount he gave me actually covered all of it. I don't think it did, but I was more concerned that he have a guitar something better than his Applause...
Needless to say, he really loved it when he first picked it up. It wasn't perfect, but came out pretty decent.

Wow, I almost bought that guitar from John and decided not to late in the
game.

Jim, the flamed mahogany and body shape look so similar to what I'm
imagining that it's not even funny. It looks great! (thankfully!!!)

These are some beautiful guitars for sure. Even the "plain" mahogany is a gem!

This has to be one of my favourite mahogany guitars, The all mahogany by Paul Woolson, with that killer end graft.
