Ok folks!
We promised we'd give you all a heads up! THIS Friday marks the 3 week ordering window for the D'Addario Bulk string offering.

Get your orders in NOW or miss the boat

Lance
PS, remember once we make the bulk order it will take D'Addario a minimum of 4 weeks to fill it. Then I will need packing time after that.

Lance, sorry for being such a knob. But I looked through the original thread and couldn't find the paypal address. Is it the "twoluthiers" address? If so, I've got that on file. if not, can you send me the correct address? Thansk P

Been so busy taking care of my new baby girl (not to mention my older daughter, who needs some special attention with the adjustment to being a big sister) that I missed the original thread on this. So, please forgive me, but what's the deal with this?

Thanks!

I know this is last minute, but is there anyone who would still be interested in splitting a half gross of PB lights, PB mediums, or 80/20 lights? I'd be interested in up to 36 sets (half a half gross) of any or all of these. I'd be happy to put in the order, divide and mail them out to anyone who wants to split them with me. Please send me a PM. Todd Rose38973.6059259259

I just paid for a gross (to split between 4 luthiers) and then saw Lance McCollum's post. Is that right? I thought this was for 144 anti-corrosion bagged sets. Now it seems that this is 864 strings in a bag.

Please let me know.

Seems it would be difficult to have "fresh" strings a year from now when I get down to the last sets...

If I am not mistaken, they will be bagged per gauge of string, so a gross of lights is six bags, one string per bag. Correct Lance ???

I had not read the entire original thread, either, so I didn't understand how the strings would be packaged. I don't string up that many guitars, so for me this would be a storage challenge (corrosion potential, etc) I don't want to deal with. I'm out.
