Hey all,
a friend of mine from Israel just moved to Toronto,Canada.
ive pointed out to him some of our great sponsors and suppliers over at that part of the world.
i have been asked however to find out if there is any good source for wood in lumber form and not pre-cut guitar sets.

any help would be greatly appreciated,
Udi.

I would think that Tony Karol and Mario would be able to help with that side of the country.

If you look at Canada411.ca and search for hardwood dealer in toronto, you will get several options.

Check out Exotic woods they have lumber and guitar stock and a tone of stock from the look of it.

Udi-
I used to live in the Toronto area and the two main specialty wood suppliers then were Unicorn Universal Woods (once downtown, but now on Steeles Ave up north) and A&M Wood Specialty- a bit far afield in Cambridge, but well worth the pleasant 60-90 minute drive.
I would trust the crew at A&M to select and ship wood to me- they always treated me very fairly.
A&M also mill/sell some instrument wood.
Both firms have websites.
Cheers
John

I don't know if there is a " Adams and Kennedy" store in Toronto but it is a very nice place to go for a very wide selection of domestic and exotic woods under one roof. Anthony? Tony?

I live about 3 hours from Toronto and am often making a run to A & M in Cambridge. As John said it is well worth the drive. Exotic woods is a bit closer to Toronto and is another great place to get wood. I know that Tony is in there on a regular basis.

A & M woods
