Thanks for the warm welcome. I am really looking forward to participating in this forum; I think it will be a lot of fun. I have been hanging around the edges for a while. Time to jump in the pond.
Rod, I am not quite on the lake, about a ten minute walk . Serge, Orillia is about an hour north of TO about 5 hours and a bit to Ottawa. A big hi to Arnt and Anthony and thank you for your kind words. Hope to see you both at the ASIA bash in May. I will start a new post next week when I get a bit of time and do a short bio.

Ron

Brock, Lance, Bob and all,

I just noticed that this was an auction to help me out and was really put
right back into that same place as with the last one. As you're all probably
saying, "Speechless? Kevin? I don't think it's possible, I'll just suffice it to
say that this is an incredible honor to have you all reach out to my family
and I in such a generous way and my thanks just seem to fall short of
expressing our gratitude. You're a blessing.

I love Macassar Ebony and have built with it connected to every
imagineable top wood. None of the instruments failed to impress
everyone who played them and their owners. It's just one of those back
and side woods that is not only beautiful, but seems to be able to work
well with anything.

All the best to everyone and thank you again,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

Kevin,
we are all hoping you get well soon and have a blessed Christmas!
But, there is one thing you can do..... do you have a picture of that Ebony guitar you built? I bet everyone here would love to see it!

Just wanted to post something here since i came into these auctions too late... (i.e. already started collecting my wood for my first guitar(s) and can't afford even more)...

I am impressed with the communitiy and vendor support on this forum and wanted to make it known that it will make a difference in my choices as i continue forward in my search for supplies and tools.

Sorry bout that Eric, that has happened many times. I have to go by the server clock, if you see the edit stamps on my post you will see the time line.

PS, there is yet another kit in the works, if it pans out it will be up asap!
