my dearest beloved sweetie and i have made it a tradition to give a solstice gift, and upon opening mine last night i was faced with a small lie-neilson box containing a bronze 212 scraper plane.

now ain't that a wonderful way to go into winter!!!!!

Very nice indeed Michael. Great tradition.

So now that you know how easy it is to post a picture, will we see more pictures from your work?

took the 212 to the workshop this afternoon; it is going to make scraping rosettes a breeze methinks. had about a half hour scraping session on some cherry scrap. result was smooth as a babies bum!!!

sweetie received an 18" hand made pottery platter decorated with a stylized(think cave art at lasceau)goat. she is a goat keeper and fell in love with it back before thanksgiving when we attended the opening of an exhibition at a gallery up in seneca.

will try to get a photo that i can post.

yes, i am rather blessed to have this woman let me into her life, and for her to put up with mine.

and if she is sucessful in teaching me to use her digital camera some work photos will be forthcoming, maybe, hopefully, possibly......
