FYI,
Be on the look out for a new forum, found in the forum listings here at the OLF.

We have all five video segments up and ready for download. We will be making the Introduction to Ervin Somogyi Voicing class available later today!

We only ask that you fill out a brief form before you download the five files. There will be a link that points to the registration page. This registration is purely voluntary, but do fill it out. It will assist Brock and I in choosing future online classes here at the OLF.

THIS is exciting!

Yes indeed that is truly incredible - and just another reason this place is The resource for luthiers and those aspiring to the craft.
Cheers

I hope it's okay to express thanks and well-wishes here, so that the class thread stays clean and to the point... But I am really really excited about this. Thanks so much for putting this together, Brock, Lance, and especially Ervin. I'm a pretty new builder so I'll probably mostly sit in the corner quietly and listen attentively as I'm sure many others will. When my woodworking skills warrant it, I will look forward to attending the real class armed with what I will have learned in this class.

The Ervin Somogyi Voicing Thread is open. Feel free to stop by and download the videos and read Ervin's first post.

And... please take the opportunity to ask Ervin questions. This is a great opportunity. Let's make the most of it.

Ok, so I watch through all 5 videos and there are lots of great hints and tips in there. Of course Ervin's hands on class would be awesome to get to at some point to fill in all the blanks.

Thanks for this incredible resource guys, what an honor.
