I am selling the latex bands from the clamps in bags of 50 for a token $2 for those who would like to double them up for more power out of the clamps. You can look on the web site under 'tools' or click here.

The price is for a very limited time, but the bands will always be available.

Thanks,

John

Right - I suppose I'll have to take the plunge and order some of these while the bands are available too!

How many do you recommend ordering? - how many to do one side of a guitar?

I recommend ordering at least 1,000.

Seriously, it should work out that 50 goes all the way 'round and then some. If you order 100, you get 10 of the little ones for free. They're good for cutaways, waists, smaller instruments, etc.

are those the same as the rubber loops that shepherds use to de-tail lambs?

rather than post a pic that some may find disturbing (veggies and cuddly animal lovers etc) scroll down to Emasculator

My Dad uses these.........

John,
I just got the clamps that I ordered and I am very impressed, but I was going to ask to buy some more rubber bands, so good call. I like a strong clamp for my kerfing, I hate gaps. I will be ordering soon.

Got my clamps today. John, they are sure going to be a great addition and the quality is there. But hey, I expect no less when I purchase from CNCGuitarParts.

Sure, all of the international orders that came in over the holidays are being shipped today. The have to go USPS instead of FedEx, and the PO was closed yesterday for President Ford.
