Bob, I'll help you out.

To post a link press the 4th button in from the left, the one that looks like a globe with a chain link at the bottom.

Follow the prompts in the header in the pop up window and it's all good. don't forget to add a space if you want to keep typing after you've added the link.

One thing you should now, is if you are adding a link in an area that you've already typed and want it in that space, the link will be inserted at the last part of the post, so you will have to cut and paste it into the area you want.

Preview Post is something I use a lot if I have pictures and links. It's just an easy way to see that the post is presented good.
