You've been away too long, it's not normal, getting a little worried here, maybe are you just too busy with commissions or your new website?

Anyone knows how he's doing?

I noticed the same thing Serge. I'm hoping that all is well and he hasn't been affected by the uncharacteristic weather in his part of the country.

Funny how we miss our pals when they're away for awhile.

Last post I saw MichaelP involved in was the guitar crunch one from the shipper as I recall, maybe since but I have been traveling alot as well. Hope all is OK, I will try and email him and check.

It has been some nasty weather down here in Texas. Rain, sleet, snow and alot of ice. My area got a little sleet and some icing buy not on roadways. Here in Northeast Texas we have poured out 12.5 inches of rain from our guage for a period of a little over a week and it has been raining the past few days as well. MichaelP is in Odessa, Texas, way out West and they were hit pretty hard with ice. Our people can't handle and our roads for instance are built with a dome center for rain runoff so with the least amount of ice you find yourself quickly in a ditch. Most folks here don't have chains and none or our cities are prepared for ice storms since they happen so rarely.

I heard the other day that we're not really having global warming, but our poles are shifting. Apparently the North pole is now going to be located somewhere in Texas....

Hey Michael, your fan club awaits, including me? Where you was?

Where ever he is I bet it includes his work and somehow, guitars. (fill us in Michael)

[/QUOTE]

I know that sounds crazy, and for a long time it was an idea championed by new agers and hippies, but I saw a Nova episode where they explained how theres a magnetic field that surrounds Earth, and how it protects the planet from solar radiation, essentially enabling all life to exist.
During this show they showed sattelite imagery where the earth has been monitored with imagery software setup to detect magentic fluctuations.
This software that detects the magnetic fluctuations throughout this field was analysed, and they determined by this and also through geological magnetic evidence that the poles have actually shifted many times throughout the Earths lifespan.
Scarily they also discovered that the magnetic field is actually weakening too, and some researchers are fearing that if this trend continues there will be an actual collapse of this essential field, and that all life on earth will be destroyed by solar radiation.
Interesting yet scary stuff!
Cheers

Mike, anyone of you guys live close to Michael? Could it be a possibility to call him up and check if he's ok?

I just don't like the fact that he hasn't been here for such an extended period of time, just doesn't sound like him to do that!
