Ron, Sounds like I can make it. Sandy (girlfriend/wife) said you looked like a nice bunch of guys
Yeah, Bruce can work wonders with photoshop.

That's great, Dave, can't wait to meet you.    Hopefully Jimmie D. can make it from Memphis. Hey, Jimmie, it's about 60 miles closer to my house than it was to Bruce's.

BTW TEXANS are invited to.

They'll be carefully screened, so we get only the cream. Seriously, I wish Steve K. and Mike Spencer would come.

Who all is going to Ron Wisdom's in Beebe? Ron, Bruce, Matt, Paul, Dave Ri, Cecil, Dave Re?, Jon?, Serge?, Jimmie, .....

IF you live inside the radius that includes these towns you drive no more than Dave Rector did for the one last August. We'd love to see you and your stuff there. NAMM Arkansas....

Springfield, Mo
Neosho, Mo
Rolla Mo
Jackson TN
Tupelo MS
Grenada MS
Shreveport LA
Sulphur Springs TX
Broken Bow OK
McAlester OK
and finally, Broken Arrow, OK

The entire state of Arkansas is included in less than 261 miles. Anyone as DieHard as Dave? Come on.

Nice picture, Bruce. Mike Spencer might make it up from Texas, as he's working on a job in Little Rock.

I'm hoping to make it again. Just have to see if I can get away from work or not.

Matt, I thought it was a bit early to be getting together again at first.

But I'm getting really excited to see everything you guys are working on. If nothing else I'm bringing a Bass Neck five string fretted that I'm doing.

I have two about ready for the spray booth. The other one will be gone and I'll have a pay day, yippee!

Who else may be coming besides Mike Spencer? We need some new blood too.....Bruce Dickey39103.9762615741

You know, Bruce folks might want to bring something for a sort of swap meet. If anyone coming has wood, tools, jigs, what have you, that you wish to swap for something, why not bring it and you might find a swapper who has exactly what you need. (or a buyer). Just a thought.   And I've found that if I have a thought I'd better write it down.

I have some stuff for sure, I'll take a peek and toss it in. Great idea and it helps to talk about it.... to make it happen I mean...

What's on the menu? I learned how to do great baked potatoes.... recently for a bunch of college kids... you got a microwave to reheat?

I assume all luthiers have a microwave.    I'm not sure. How about BBQ, beans, potato salad? Or suggest something to go with your baked spuds. We have a local man that does bbq for a lot of school functions here, and I was thinking of using his talents.

I'm all for BBQ. I found food prep distracted me a little on the first get together. Probably a really good idea. We all gotta eat.

My brother in law and my dad's cousin, both do a mean bbq and like Serge said, you're making me hungry.

I'm all about some BBQ. If you want I can pick up a couple of racks from whole hog cafe you if you don't want to bother your family Bruce.
The swap meet is a good idea. Also, can you think of any demos you'd like to do or see.

Demos, yes, great idea.

I'd like to see someone bring a new StewMac rosette cutter and demo that. The one with the micrometer adjustment laterally.

Side Bending

Slotting a fretboard.

Radiusing a fretboard.

Maybe an inlay demo.

Got any ideas? We could do several demos at once and mill around watching what's happening?

I'll volunteer to do slotting a fretboard. Of course I do it with a table saw not manually.
I'd like to see someone shape braces/"tune" a top, if someone feels confident enough to do that.

I'm gonna make good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Not sure I could bring much you all would want to see.
