Sadly, Bruce Wei can't help me cos it's chinese new year(? )so I'm looking for an ebony headstock veneer with the word "Irvine" inlaid on it in MOP.

Anyone suggest a sponsor preferably who could do me a one off for a friend's kid's Les Paul I'm building?

And yes, I'm trying to do it as cheap as possible!!!

if it's gonna be scary money I'll have to leave it, but he WOULD like it.......

Bruce can't look at it til April at the earliest

Martin, I know John Watkins does that sort of thing. Might try giving him a call. Or you could have Andy Depaule cut it out for you and inlay it in the headstock yourself.

Martin,

That's the service I have always offered. (Maybe I should have Lance put my sponsor name in lights!
P.M. me with details; I would be happy to help.

Paul

I don't know what their prices are like for custom work, but in the UK there's always Small Wonder - http://www.smallwonder-music.co.uk/

I've gorra feeling that I've spoken to the bloke who runs Smallwonder-music, at David Dykes. Very knowledgable chap.

If not, telephone David Dykes and ask for the chap who runs the inlay company. There was definetely somebody there who was running his own business in custom inlays.

cheapest I am sure, and yes I am happy that way...

I normally spend an hour just looking at it to make sure I a happy with it. It's a sickness I am sure we all have here. That said I am a big fan of Andy, and Paul.
