Hi all,

Not sure how many may have heard, but there was a devastating fire in Nipigon Ontario, way up north were our very own Richard Harvey is the mayor. I saw him on the national news last night, as two days ago the town main employer, and pretty much reason to be (other than its God's country up there) went up in flames. The local mill made lumber products and plywood, and had recently been bought into by its employees to save it from being shut down by its owners .. and now this.

I imagine Richard is a pretty busy man these days, so maybe a silent prayer to help them all thru is needed.

Dang.

Hey Richard, we're thinking about you my friend...
I hope there was good insurance, and that the mill can rebuild.

Richard, me and my wife are saddened to hear this for you folks up there, we also have relatives who use to live in Nippigon, very sad news.

Our prayers to you and for your community to get back up to fight with faith under the Almighty.

Best regards

Serge

That's terrible news. I really feel for all those people who depended upon the mill and the potential loss of their investment as well.

Richard I wish you and your town the best and strength to pull through.

MAN!! All the best Richard. Wish there was more we could do! Maybe you need to get Godin to set up one of his satelitte guitar parts operations in your town! Look for the opportunities while you fight to get the mill up again.

The very best of luck!
Shane

This is really sad. Our town had a major fire 7 years ago. We lost about 300 homes in the community and the forest was just devastated, some Aspen are just starting to come in now.
It can bring the community together in many ways however, I pray that Richards community comes through this as a stronger community.
I know this will be very hard on all up there.
Your in our prayers.

Thats a real drag and an unwarranted, unwanted, occurance for sure!!
my thoughts are with the families who depend on the business, I grew up around those parts..... I know how industry focused a community can be!
Cheers
