does anyone know of a serviced uke kit (ala LMI) in the martin early style? I have seen the pics of the stew mac and woodcraft ones seems like the same kit has anyone tried this kit?

The two kits are the same. I believe that Woodcraft sold it first but the kit is from Stew-Mac. One of these kits is currently on my work bench waiting for me to find some time. The kit seem ok but my top is kind of floppy. It is pretty thin which is ok but floppy. I will probably replace the top with spruce even if it is a soprano. I don't care for the bridge so I will repalce it with a non tie pinless bridge (bead under the soundboard).
