Hi folks, heres the Tele I scored tonight--I'm very excited about playing this one. I was looking for that vintage tele tone--this should have it. Enjoy

af_one,

Check the Tele sounds at the Kinman link, these are what's used in Prince's Tele.

I think you're really going to like it. Do you know what kind of pickups it
has?

Scott,

What an exquisite example of a true classic. The Swamp Ash Tele is one of the must haves for any fine collection and that one is an absolute cracker.

How cool, that is two nice tele's in as many days. Did you happen to see Brock's stunning mahogany bubinga and gold hardware example the other day? What a beauty that is too.

Cheers

Kim

Very cool Telecastor!I've always loved Fender electrics.
Is that a 52'Reissue ?

James, the pick-ups are listed as Fender Vintage. I've heard this is a true reproduction of the 52, even has the orginal wiring and and upgrade kit with it--also has the additional 6 barrel brass saddle, but comes with the vintage 3 installed.

Dave, its listed as a true 52 reissue--sopposed to be an exact repro down to the pots and wiring.

I'm very excited about this one. However, I am still going to do a custom Tele in the near future, or have one built--with more modern features--this is my Cash/Luther guitar.

This is one of my favorite electric guitars. Play some Springsteen for us!
