I've owned two Huss and Dalton guitars, and they were both outstanding. I plan on visiting there this summer, on my motorcycle, if life cooperates. And even if life doesn't, it'll stay on my list of things to do.

I've heard it's a beautiful area to visit.

Bill;  Just east is Skyline drive on the east ridge of Shenandoah headed north and Blueridge Parkway going south.  I've ridden Skyline, It's a great ride if a thunderstorm does not catch you on the top.  (don't ask me how I know.  Blueridge is on my list of must ride someday.

Kirby: Yell at me when you're ready to hit the Blueridge Parkway. I've ridden sections of it, literally, hundreds of times in my life. I've only done "end to end" a couple of times. If I'm able, it'd be a pleasure to meet up with you somewhere along the way. Lunch on me.

And I know exactly what you mean about the thunderstorm on top.

When I was a kid, we used to go up to my grandparents every Sunday, weather permitting (Spring to Fall). We drove up the Parkway for about 10-20 miles, passing Mabry's Mill, cut off and go by Lover's Leap. That is where I fell in love with Fall and all it's glory. I haven't been there in over 25 years now. I've promised Sweetie and Ryan that we'll go during the fall and drive the entire Parkway.
Thank you for bring back some special memories.

Ah yes, Mabry Mill. Very nice place to relax for a bit. Lillian, just a little further up the Parkway now, on the left, is a place called Chateau Morrisette. It's an exceptional winery, once privately owned by the Phillip-Morris family.

It is spectacular, especially during the colorful times of the year. They have terrific jazz concerts (actually IN the vinyard), a world class restaurant and lots of monthly special events. Consider checking it out.

Bill;

Will do.  I've crossed the Parkway 3 or 4 times on the bike traveling between the south east and Chicago.  Time restraints always made me miss it.  Seems it is 90 degrees from the direction I have to go to get from where I'm at to where I have to be.
