I've seen numerous postings about the Kronus Nibbler Tool that is/was on sale at Radio Shack for $3.97. Now discontinued, but maybe still available locally depending on your location. RS Cat.# 64-2960. These make good fret tang nippers when modified by cutting a groove/notch for the fret crown in front of the cutting head. StewMac sells their nipper for $42, and it appears to be a modified Klein brand. After an exhaustive search in my area, NoCal SF&Monterey Bay I found the Kronus is all gone from my region. Some people towards the East are still finding the Kronus at local RS's. After some diligent internet searching I found this online at double the RS price, but 1/5th the SM price. It looks to be the same as the Kronus tool.
