Andy...Do you have any pics of the final top bracing scheme?

Also, how does the stiffness (deflection) of this redwood top (.113) compare to that which you would measure for a spruce top? What would be your "normal" spruce thickness?

Since I am a "grad" of the Somogyi method, I am a bit restricted in how much
detail I am allowed to give.   It is no secret that Ervin uses deflection testing.
This piece of redwood is not as stiff as my lutz. I thin them considerably
more. I have no "normal" thickness for anything. Since each piece of wood
is unique they are treated that way. I test each piece individually and
thickness them accordingly
