Congrats, very cool and glad to see everybody is finally getting their strings.

One quick question, when you have strings like that which have been opened and seperated, will they be affected by weather changes since they're not sealed, or does the freezer bag protect them well enough so they still sound like new strings when you put them on?

Cheers!

John

Glad to see that they arrived safely, Hesh... Enjoy!!!

Now you can replace all the crusty strings you claim to have on your guitars.

Being exposed like this, do you think the strings will tarnish?

Sam, you're forgetting Hesh's Guitar Warehouse. All those babys need to be fed!

Best thing to do (and what I plan on doing myself) is to coil each indiviual string, make a set and use a food preserve type vacuum sealer and seal it in a package, sucking all the air out. I intend to do this in the shop which is held at 45%RH. Hope that's low enough.

In your pics of the string arriving, I noted this picture

Aren't those the bags which D'Addario normaly package their strings in? Looks like it to me.

Don't we get those bags with the strings???? I hope so, I'd like to use that for sealing them if possible.
