Hello All,

Just a few pics of my almost completed Blackwood guitar....A coat or two of epoxy, most pieces just sitting in place for the photos.

Cheers,
Greg

Fantastic effort Greg - that looks snaz!!!

I love the blackwood, its really a striking wood, Im going with tiger myrtle for my first AUssie wood guitar (down the road) but man you cant argue with your selection, very nicely appointed and well done!
Cheers

That's a beauty. I like the color combination and attention to details like the truss rod cover. What will the bridge be?

Really pretty, Greg.
Is that Bloodwood you've got for the bindings?
I very much like the colors used also.

Steve

Thanks Everyone...sounds like the soundport is a hit, first-time soundport making luck I guess!

Steve....yes, that's Bloodwood everywhere, I really like the looks of it, especially with the Blackwood.

Andy...I'm building 2 together(This Blackwood & Honduran Rosewood)....the first group of guitars after the Somogyi course. It took quite a bit longer than planned as I changed a few things after the class I start to shake every time I pick this one up and tap on it....Oooh, I think it might sound pretty good

Pat...I'm going to use KTM-9 on this guitar, I finally got to the point where I was happy with it on the last guitar.

Cheers to All,
Greg
