Thanks for the post, Todd. Very cool planes indeed. I've been thinking about
taking hacksaw and grinder to my Stanley 100, but can't quite bring myself
to do it.

The infil looks especially nice.

Id definitely be interested getting in on any production run of these little gems - for someone tinkering with making planes though I assume that they would be something I would be able to make myself at some point..

What (if you would or can tell me) is the thickness of the brass used of the sides and sole of the first two planes pictured?
They look like a very well thought out plane!

I'll be durn, an infill thumb plane! Of course I'm interested (does the Pope wear a funny hat, is the frog's a** water tight etc)! I can't tell from the pictures exactly how the second one works...?

Looks to me like the centerline of the iron is perpendicular to the centerline of the plane, so my guess is that you'd pull it sideways, sort of like spreading butter on your morning toast.
