I have a customer that wants me to inlay a vine as a soundhole rosette. I have been working for hours trying to draw it. It's the actual vine that I can't get. The leaves shouldn't be any problem. How should I go about trying to draw a skinny circular vine. I have drawn a 1/4" width space for the guidelines of the vines edges.

Can this even be done by hand? Is there some kind of user friendly computer software I could get to do it.

I haven't officially "got" the order yet, but I sure hate to loose it over this.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you check Andy DePaule's site and go products and then to the matched inlay sets, the first set has a interesting vine soundhole pattern.  That might give you an idea of how to do it.
