I've finally gotten around to finishing this little guitar. Still a few tweaks to take care of. but for 3 hours old, it sounds incredible. It's very lightly built and made to look and sound vintage in every respect.

Sweet...very vintage and a real looker! The BRW is drop dead gorgeous and every thing came together really well.

Congratulations.

Jimmy,

Where did you get your branding iron? I've wanted one for a while now but
it seems every place I call or e-mail won't give me any satisfaction.

John,

Go here.. Not cheap, but the brand is very high quality. No comparison to the Woodcraft type (not that I have anything aginst Woodcraft, I buy stuff there all the time). Mine took about three weeks after the artwork was done. Will you be at Healdsburg this year?

Jimmy, you nailed that peghead.
Really first-rate work.
Is this for a customer, or for your own amusement?

Wow, Jimmy you should be very proud. That is an outstanding guitar. Is it sold or are you keeping it for yourself?

Jimmy,

That guitar is very beautiful! And, tastefully trimmed out too!

I’ve thought about trying abalone purflings, but, I’m guessing it takes a lot of time to do.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. For those of you who asked, this is one of three I'll be displaying at Healdsburg in August. Hope to see many of you there.

Jimmy,

Beautiful work and a great guitar. You really caught the vintage 00 look
and I'm sure it sounds and plays great.

All the best,

It looks great!

The 00-12 is my favorite Martin shape, and you seem to have every aspect of the vintage design just right. And will you look at that back, WOW! It doesn't get any better than that.

Ditto Jimmy, fantastic work.  Any chance you'd send it on a road trip for evaluation?

Great work Jimmy,

That guitar looks so sweet that I just want to hold it in my arms....and then run away with it as fast as my legs will carry me

Beautiful example of fine woods done justice

Cheers

Kim
