hi everybody,
i'm looking for a couple of silicone heating blankets for my fox side bender...

there's a watlow (www.watlow.com) store near my school in italy and i searched in their catalog..

they have two types: with wire wounds elements (0.055 in) and with etched foils elements (0.018 in)...

which one is the right one?

you want the foil type. the wire type are too thick and lumpy.

you may want to check the prices compared to getting them from the omega or minco in the us or europe. omega's US price for the 6" x 36" 5w/sq. in. version is about US$69 and they are available in 120v or 220v. i have no idea what shipping to europe or customs duty would add to the price.

I have the blanket from LMI, I believe it's a Benchcraft. It measures .055.
