It has been a while since we had a "post your favorite video link" thread, and I just stumbled up on this, so I thought I would post it.

It is an 11 year old boy playing "California Dreamin" and I am just in awe over his fingerpicking style.... truely amazing!

Here is the LINK

anything amazing you want to post a link to?

What nonsense Ken! Why that bloke ain't 11 years old! He's probably more like 72! It's just that some of these Asian folk live good clean healthy lives and maintain a very good diet. As you can see, this can do wonders for maintaining that youthful complexion. Guess it also explains why I look like crap

Cheers

Kim

Victor Wooten, of course he can't compare to this Korean kid..

But if you like bass playing to the max, give it a try.

I've been listening to Bela Fleck & the Flecktones all day... seeing that video of Victor Wooten doing his thing takes me back to what were among the most amazing shows I've ever witnessed when they were out here earlier this year.

Bela Fleck was once part of a group called "Newgrass Revival" of which I never get tired of listening to. Some Bluegrass music I can tolerate and actually appreciate (such as Tony Rice and Ricky Skaggs), but newgrass revival is one that I never tire of listening to. All of those guys were just remarkable musicians!

I just found Andy McKee on Youtube as well. He's a great fingerstyle player.
These two are probably the two I like best, so far:

Bruce,

Thanks for posting that link!  That guy is humbling. VERY humbling!

There are so many talented people in this world that have taken their talents to "Master" status. It makes me proud to be one of many craftsmen that makes the tools for these masters of the art of music.
