OK back to symposium from a vendors point of view. Sales were pretty slow on weds. Most of the attendees were busy attending the various seminars trying to learn some great buikding techniques instead of buying zoot. Can you imagine that. I had time to play Lance's new LS guitar and let me tell it is absolutly awesome. Fit and finish is superior and it plays like a dream. Too bad I don't play better. Lots of great wood here. I have talked to many of the vendors and they are a great bunch. I even horse traded some of my bloodwood bindings for a set of amazon rosewood and two sets of red spruce soundboards.with a fellow named Barney. last name slips my mind. Looking at all these great guitars has given me the urge to build again. Last nite around 8:pm I dragged my weary body back out to the dorms where a lot of the guys are staying. They all gather outside at nite and jam. I listened to some great blues and bluegrass music. Hey I even jammed a bit myself. Now inside the dorms in Matt Gages room were 4 super players. One is the young fellow that Matt built that gorgeous resonator for. WOW I was blown away. Simply awesome. Guitar, acoustic bass, octave mando, and mando. I didn't want to leave but called it a night around 11 pm. Well today is supposed to be super busy so I'm off to breakfast and then to the vedors area to get things ready. Later!

Bob,

Sounds like you are all going to be exhausted from having too much fun. What a great time.

Keep us posted.

Jeff
