And other luthiers (lurking?) who are exhibiting at the Acoustic Guitar Show in Cheltenham on Saturday and Sunday...

All the very best, and I sincerely hope the weekend is a success.

Yes, good luck Dave, I know your slightly 'different' take on guitar building will make your guitars stand out from the common herd. Report on the proceedings, afterwards, would be appreciated.

Thanks y'all. This is my first real show and I'm nervous but also looking forward to seeing the work of some great British luthiers to be inspired and compare where I am at with my current skills. Three of my four girls (the De Faoite'ettes) will be there helping so the marketing machine is in full swing

I had plans to build a few new guitars in August to show but this only came to one completion (a couple of others nearly got there) - a 24.8" scale length, 13 fret body join Grand Concert with Florentine cutaway in Euro spruce and Bob C's Black Limba. The strings went on tonight and it sounds fabulous. If I get chance I'll post a few pics of it tomorrow.

Pics of the show will duly be taken and posted here next week - if I survive

Sam - what day are you coming to the show?

Lucky buggers at Cheltenham, so their going to get to play a range of Dave White's innovations. Well, some people have all the luck.

Onya Dave

Wish I could be there, I'm sure it will be fun.

Good luck Dave, sounds like you have a pretty good marketing plan there. Not that your guitars don't speak for themselves, but I bet the "De Faoite'ettes" won't hurt sales none!

Hope it is a great show for you, Dave.  Can't wait to see the pictures when the show is over.
