The coffee filter is 100% lint free, doesn't hold too much material and works better than my bare finger for spreading Tru-Oil.  I just thought I'd pass this on for those who struggle with the little things, like I've done thus far.

Cool idea.

because they are a pressed fiber as apposed to woven I would have concern as they wear loosing fibers. but like lens cleaning tissue when new they are lent free.
