I built a a parlor size out of western cypress. Snakewood marquetry strip. Snakewood binding and tail piece. Snakewood headstock plate. Had no problems bending the binding what so ever. The wood is very hard and very beautiful. I like it so much I bought two Snakewood Fretboards off the Zootman at ASIA. Man was that expensive!

Thanks guys. No doubt snakewood is expensive. Any wood you buy by the pound has to be. Robbie surprisingly enough the snakewood bindings bend rather easily.
