Ok with all the specials flying around here it got a bit crazy and my wife took all the money and wouldn't talk to me till the ads stopped and I stopped panting , I'm looking for something very specific this time around....

I need to find a Classical set of Cocobolo with alot of figure in the back, I dug through the vendors here and most of the cocobolo I found was either sold or fairly plain. I'm building a hauser based classical and want something that will just absolutely POP. It needs to be well quartered as I'm going to build this one very very light...

Any takers??

Thanks

Dang Don... that's some NICE work there... the figures a little larger than I wanted, I'm looking for the stuff that has lots of dark swirls in it...

Cheers

I have these couple of sets, but I'm in the UK so could work out quite expensive with the shipping etc.

Paul,
I have some Coco that might fit the bill ,but it is not wide enough for 2 piece backs-I think it is 6"wide so you could put cheeks on it,it is quartersawn so you would never be able to see the cheeks.
If you have any interest let me know and I will send you some pictures.
Thanks, Brad

Russell that second picture is what I'm looking for, but your right shipping from the UK can be an issue. I've gotten a couple of emails of people who are looking, I'm being very picky this time because I have something VERY special in mind for this one. Russell if you want to talk money we can do that, I can pay with a CC so the conversion rate happens automatically and I'll happily pay the shipping..

Brad it has to be at least 7-1/4" wide which is standard for classicals, otherwise you'd be on. I'm not in a huge hurry but I figured it would be hard to find what I wanted so I'm looking now. I'll send you a message Brad about some other things I was going to get from you.

In the meantime I'm working on the shop, building some new jigs and putting things back together after the HB show. I have 3 planned right now and one special order I have to start planning on (he wants a 12 fret parlor).

Which reminds me.... does anyone know where I can get plans for an OO body shape??

Cheers

On the OO try John Hall, He often has Martin stuff and makes OO forms and Molds, so I guess he based those on a plan or something.

I'll PM you on the Coco
