     I have the bridge clamp and location tool on special . I am offering it to OLFers with free shipping for $65.
You set the scale length you need. It can work against the nut or the fingerboard. You have to be sure you set the scale length. I personally at .125(mediums) and .100 ( light) to the length. I found this will give you as good of an intonation as you can get. It is simple to use. I do use masking tape to mark my centers of the fingerboard to the top. I then set scale length and let the locator set into the saddle of the bridge. Double check your bridge for square. I am using the martin 3 degree of compensation.


     Once I am sure that is where the bridge belongs I drill 2 3/16 holes through the 1st and 6th pin holes. I wax the brass posts so glue won't form threads . Rub it against a candle or such.
      Now you bring the base up through the bottom and set the bridge over the posts. This will keep the bridge in perfect postion.
    The lexan is placed over the bridge for the actuall clamping. Once this forms to the bridge you have all the clamping force needed for a perfect glue job.
    Once the bridge is secured you can clean up the squeez out and place the wing attachment. Just set over the brass posts and use the knureled nuts to hold the upper plate as it puches on the wings. You won't need much pressure , just a snug and your bridge will be in perfect postion and perfectly clamped.

   Yes it can. You will use the first line of pin holes behind the saddle

John...Nice! Can this clamp work on a pyramid bridge...where the string spacing is 2-5/16" as opposed to the typical belly bridge spacing of 2-1/8"? Also, will the wing screw hold-downs align on the pyramids?

As you know, I'm partial to the pyramid bridges and will buy this in a heartbeat if it works for them.

John, is the base of the clamp radiused? If so, what radius did you use?

I really like this. Got a couple of questions.
How would you use this with various string hole spacings?     Does the string length index off of the middle of a slanted saddle or does it index off the treble end?
I am assuming there is no radiusing and that a used could add their own radiused shim.

Now I see how you did the string hole spacing variance. One side has a slot.. Clever

   Yes I have sliding hole technology. I am working this for a pyramid bridge but didn;t get that to where I like it yet.
   The rule is included and you have a wide range for the string spacing. If you tell me the max you need I will see if I can't make you one. they do go wide enough for 2 3/8
as for radius. They are not. If your bridge is radiused you will still get a good join as the lexan is the pressure and the lets face it   the bridge plate isn't radiused either.
