Just finished updating my website, because the acquisition is still proceeding and the stuff we maintain at work is well taken care of there's not much to do right now (it's rough you know having well written reliable software ) so in the interest of "learning our products better" I updated my site using all our tools... I'm interested in hearing what you guys think

Patriot Guitars Online

There's still more to do, just realized that I need to add the Zootser and some of the sponsors that I use in my links section (sorry guys I'll get it tomorrow).

Also on the Idaho front, all the pieces continue to fall into place, my Boss OK'd me working remote yesterday. Michelle went up today met with them and if the company makes an offer (which we are pretty certain they will) they pay all our moving costs... SWEET!!!

We decided if their offer is even close to good we are going to jump and go for it, the biggest thing for us is we don't have to do the moving this time. They will pay for professionals to do it all which is what we really wanted...

I'll know tuesday for sure, I have a client waiting on me to start a new guitar, but I'll give him the option of waiting a little while for us to settle in or I'll just give him his deposit back.

Funny thing is that Michelle ran into a ton of people all who moved from California for the same reasons we are (taxes, expenses, traffic, commuting.. the list goes on), in fact one of the people interviewing her is from LA and told her they moved for the same reasons and love it up there. The one thing I'm really looking forward too:

Fishing

I love to go fishing, I used to drive up to the mountains when we lived in Bakersfield to fish in the canyon but here it's just too much hassle to do some proper trout fishing...

Anyway let me know what you think of the site, it's 2am the coffee's wearing off and I need to crash ...

Cheers

Paul..your site looks great. I didn't see it before the revisions but, I like the look now. It seems to be user friendly and well organized. So many sites are like a maze but, yours is well organized. Good luck with your new venture and move. Hope things work out well for you and your wife. And I know what you mean about fishing...it's a great "Get Away" from the pressures of society. Just you and nature..the way it should be sometimes. Even if the fish aren't biting.

Paul I like the new site very much. Easy to navigate, well laid out too. A few typos here and there. I wish you and Michelle the best on your new home. Happy fishing.

Paul, I like the look of the new website (though I also liked your old one, this is better) I think the gallery section has great functionality.

Thanks gang, Bob where are the typos?? There's so much content to a website it's hard to find all the little problems like that. The spelling should be correct (thank god for spell checkers), but typo's are hard to find.

We are very excited about the prospect of getting out of California right now (I was born here but this place is getting nuts), Idaho is a good place to land and Boise is a great little city. They have everything I need:

Fishing
Hooters (for the wings not the girls)
Woodcraft
Barnes & Noble

That's it, I could live with just those four Also it's easy to find houses with a seperate shop so I can actually park the cars in a real garage and still build. We have been wanting to find an old Jeep and fix it up for doing trails, but I can't do that with all the woodworking tools in the garage.

Cheers

-Paul-

P.S. Hey Colin, how fast was the gallery from your location?? I was a little worried about the flash on that being a little sluggish on slower connections.
