Ok, I've got it in my grubby little hands. The back and side purfling scheme is maple/black/koa. I noticed that the rosette uses white rather than maple. Would you guys rather see white used on the top purfling or maple? I can't decide. P

I think white will connect the look of the top better, and as long as the back and sides are the same I think it will look fine.

Brock, do you mean that as long as the back and sides are the same as each other or the same as the top? I had Don do the center strip in Maple because I didn't know what the rosette was. I think if I use white on the top and maple on the back and sides it will be all good.

Yes. I meant white on the top ledge so the rosette and the top purfling ties. The purfling under the binding on the sides seems less critical that it matches the top.
