Hey Bob,

Sorry to hear about the cracked side. I'm just curious, do you know how it happened? I'm mostly wondering if a crack like that could be from weather related issues like keeping it in too low of a humid environment, or was the guitar somehow dropped, etc? Do you think having the side re-enforced braces would have helped, or would weather still cause a crack in that case, but the crack would only have stopped at the brace?

Cheers!

John

John I am almost positive the crack was caused by low humidity. It was left out of the case with no humidifier in the soundhole. Side bracing should stop the crack at the brace. Luckily the repair is just about invisable.
