Russell, that is a beautiful sound. I really like the bass. I also liked David's song very much. Way to go!

I agree with Hesh and Ron. And just wait until that baby grows up.

Superb sounding guitar as usual Russell, just the tone I like in a guitar, good bass without boom, and singing trebles. He's right it is very good as a vocal accompaniment guitar. OH well that's another to add to the 'must build list' Although I'll probably have to sub WRC for the Redwood as the sister set of redwood is reserved for a nice piece of Andy's ripple mahogany.

You certainly set the auditory bar high.

Colin, David already owns the little plane guitar I made for him so wanted something different with this one.

If ever there was a demonstration of how wood selection influences tone, put these two guitars together.

Thanks for the sound clip. That thing sounds awesome. I've got a couple of redwood tops that I'd like to use, but I'm going to wait until my skills improve first.

Nothing to be too afraid of with redwood, it sands much faster than spruce so be aware of that, it tears out very easy, so be careful when you route the binding channel, I used a grammil before routing. Also make sure you take proper precuations with the dust.
