I did a church girl a favor and repaired the lower bout of a Peavey electric bass...it had been dropped and I glued the piece back with CA and scraped the area level and buffed it out...in the process some of the metallic flake paint was removed...any idea where I can get something to match? The color is kind of a gray/green/black/charcoal sort of thing...if I can get Peavey to help I'll go that route, but still waiting to hear...besides, I'm sure it's an offshore product and I have no idea what the support will be....

I had about the same thing and ended up at a custom body shop. The guy was pretty cool, he set me up with a close match and after a couple of coats of ktm over it you’d have to look pretty hard to see it.

Look at Guitar Reranch. They mostly have Fender colors but since everyone tries to look like fender the color might be close. Mark
