Here is a picture that some of you were asking for. It is just thickness sanded to 80 grit and then sprayed with craft lacquer in the aerosol can. I think it shows the flame though. As you sand these sets down through the grits the flames just get bolder and bolder! Hopefully I will be able to post the one I am working on now before 2006 is out!!

Here is the new stuff though:

Again, all of these sets are spoken for but I am waiting to here back from a couple of people. If they decide that they don't want them I will let you all know.

Thanks

Shane

Oh that's very nice, Shane. I know what you mean about the figure coming out better the more you sand. I have a set of 50,000 year old Kauri Wood that looks pretty plain until you get down to the finer grits. Like your beautiful Acacia, that's when it starts to pop out.
Great looking set, Shane!

Shane I'll snap a picture of the Kauri and post it, but it won't show very well. No where near a good as your's looks. Great tap tone though.

That's a great set John. I suspect that these will be similiar once they are sanded down the grits, finished and polished. It is wonderful wood this acacia!!

Doug, can't wait to see the Kauri.

Shane
