Forgive me if this has already been covered but.....I've got an IBEX finger plane with a slightly rounded bottom. What's an easy way to sharpen these?

Roy, I used the plane to carve a trough in a hardwood board that I use as a strop with honing compound.

You might also be able to use the method for sharpening carving gouges of pushing it in to the slack on a belt sander. If you use a wheel, you may find a concave felt wheel to fit. Though it may be a bit small for these two methods.

Also, however you do it, you have to be very careful because there is no wiggle room for the blade in the plane so it has to match up perfect with the sole of the plane. You could also taper the edges of the plane a bit to be more forgiving.
