Hey Russ, sorry to jump in late--been gone to a family funeral. Looks just great, amigo. What is that peghead material? It's beautiful. And while I'm asking, what is the "Avandel"-- or better said, how did you make that? Is that a decal, or what?

Hi Steve

Sorry to here about the Funeral, my condolences Steve.


The Peg Head veneer is an offcut from the Walnut, the Avandel is a Silver hotfoil Decal, I had them made.

Avandel is a breed of Rose, and my name is Russell Rose, so thats where it comes from.

I know a man in texas who has a set of Walnut from the same board
