I must do some filling with glue and sawdust. What consistancy-wet sawdust and can's see glue. Also what kind of glue-I assume no water-based glue?

I guess it depends on what you are filling. If you are filling ebony, I usually pack the void full of dry ebony dust and wick in water thin super glue by dripping it right "beside" the dry dust and letting it wick in.

On rosewood you can use a similar approach, but it isn't quite as invisible.

On light woods like spruce, maple, etc. (and even medium colored woods like koa and mahogany) the glue sawdust trick (regardless of the type of glue) doesn't make an invisible fill. You are better off patching the wood with a similar piece.
